11/22/11 For those of you that stop by the class webpage on a periodic basis and were wondering if Sparky had retired.. well he hasn't! Just shirking his duties a little. It's been a while since the last post and there are a couple of new items to bring to your attention: the SLP Foundation is planning an all school reunion for August 25th next year. They have a website: www.slpsf.org where you can find the details. Linda Harrier is planning to call the reunion committe to start work on our 65th birthday bash early next year, to start the planning process. If you have any suggestions please visit the 65th page and let us know.

07/15/11 Sparky needs to take some time to acknowledge some hard working classmates!

05/05/11 Sparky is pleased to announce the search for missing classmates is off and running and, thanks to Marci Jensen and Jay Hoffman, we have found Arnie Block, Sandy Eidem, Nancy Chicharz and Lenny Osland. More help is still needed so, if you have any information, please send it on to us....
04/01/11..The Sparky mystery appears to be getting solved .. little by little.. here's what I found via my big sister (former Echo Editor) ...in 1961 and 1962 we had a spirit named Louie. He was badly dressed as a ghost. She found 1 picture of Sparky in the 1963 yearbook, so I think you can safely say he started then.
According to his entry in the yearbook, Joel Thom was "Sparky -- the Spirit of Park." (at least in 1962-63). Also from other sources, it is reported, Dick Shapiro (class of 64) was the next in line and then Ian Swatez (class of 65) was "under the head" for the next two years. We're still looking for all the info we can get, so, if you have an update please share it on the contact us page.
03/07/11.. we need to solve a real mystery.. can anyone tell us the history of our mascot "Sparky" ? We have found him (her) in the 63 year book but not sure how it started. If you can help, put your comments on the guest book page... the webpage Sparky thanks you!!

Remember – it’s much more than just the profiles as you saw them in the 2005 Memory Book. Want one? Send $7.50 with your updated contact information (email too if you have) to Linda Steele Harrier, 922 Bass Lake Road, Nisswa, MN 56468. The funds will also help fund the next event
2/20/11 Sparky received the Memory Book CD in the mail on Friday and what an amaizing piece of work it is!!! Thanks to Linda Steele Harrier for a true labor of love.
